12-Day Luxury Honeymoon in Egypt: Cairo, Nile Cruise, Red Sea Tour

Day 1: Arrive in Egypt

Your Luxury Honeymoon in Egypt comes to life as soon as you land, when you will be met by a tour manager at the airport. He will be on hand to offer any assistance you might require, and then you will be driven to your hotel. Once you arrive at your hotel, your tour manager will aid you with check in and the two of you can look over your holiday itinerary and confirm pick-up times for each tour. Enjoy a free “Welcome” drink on us and have the remainder of the day to yourself.

Day 2: Pyramids Tour

After enjoying breakfast in your hotel, you will visit Memphis, the ancient capital of the Old Kingdom. The Step Pyramid in Saqqara is the next stop on the itinerary.

Lunch is served at the Al Ezba Restaurant, followed by the Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, situated on the Giza Plateau. You will also visit the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple, before returning to your hotel for the night.

Day 3: Fly to Aswan/Nile Cruise

Start your day with breakfast in your hotel, and then transfer to the Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan.

On arrival in Aswan, you will be transferred to board your Nile river cruiser. Spend the day on a beautiful trip sailing on the Nile with a Fellucca around Kitchener’s Island and Aga Khan Mausoleum.

Afternoon Tea and dinner on board the cruise boat where you will experience a traditional Nubian show. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 4: Aswan Sightseeing

On day 4 you will enjoy breakfast aboard ship, and then you will visit the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple.

That afternoon, you will enjoy a lunch buffet while sailing to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the Kom Ombo Temple.

After Kom Ombo, you the boat will begin sailing to Edfu, and you will enjoy afternoon tea and a Captain’s Welcome Cocktail Party. Shortly after this, you will be served another delicious dinner, and tonight there will also be a disco on board the ship.

You will be spending this night of your cruise on the water at Edfu.

Day 5: Edfu and Luxor

After breakfast aboard ship, you will visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. You will then set sail for Luxor, enjoying lunch and afternoon tea along the way.

In the evening, you will enjoy another excellent dinner, and a little bit later you are invited to enjoy a very entertaining Galabya Party on the boat at Luxor where you will be spending the night on board.

Day 6: Luxor Sightseeing

Enjoy breakfast aboard ship and then visit the Luxor West Bank area, which includes the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon.

After enjoying a morning full of wonderful sightseeing, you will return to the ship in time for another first-class lunch, and then you will have the remainder of the afternoon to yourself.

Afternoon tea and dinner will once again be served on board and after dinner this evening there will be an authentic belly dance show. Finally, end your day with a good night’s sleep on the water at Luxor.

Day 7: Luxor East Bank/Hurghada

You will disembark from your ship after an early breakfast. The first stop will be the Karnak Temples, followed by the Luxor Temple.

Next, you will check-out from your Nile cruise, and you will then be transferred to Hurghada in a modern air-conditioned vehicle, a journey which takes approximately 3 hours. On arrival at Hurghada, will be taken straight to the resort where you will be spending the night.

After you have been assisted with check-in, you will then have the remainder of the day to yourself.

Days 8, 9 & 10: Hurghada/Red Sea

Once you have enjoyed breakfast, you will head out for diving in the Red Sea for three days. In Hurghada you will experience coral reefs, rare marine life and more. Non-divers can enjoy snorkeling and diving classes. You will stay at the resort at night.

Meals included: Breakfast and lunch (lunch, mineral water and drinks served on board dive boat)

Day 11: Cairo/Egyptian Museum

After enjoying an excellent breakfast at your hotel, you will be collected and taken to the airport where you will then be boarding a flight to Cairo.

On arrival in Cairo, your tour manager will be at the airport to meet you, and you will begin your unforgettable tour of some amazing attractions in this bustling city, including the world-famous Egyptian Museum where you can view thousands of ancient artifacts, such as all the treasures which were recovered from the tomb of King Tutankhamen.

You will also be visiting the huge Salah El Din Citadel and the strikingly impressive Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque.

Other stops will include visits to the Hanging Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue, after which you will be taken to the famous Khan el-Khalili Bazaar which has been open for several hundred years already.

Finally, you will be driven to the hotel where you will be spending the final night of your Luxury Honeymoon in Egypt.

Day 12: Final Departure

Day 12 will indeed be a sad day for us all, since it is the day we say our goodbyes. Nonetheless, you will be leaving with memories that will stay with you for all eternity, and who knows what the future holds……you might very well be back a lot sooner than you think.

Enjoy breakfast, and travel in comfort to the airport, and have a safe journey home.
