8-Day Dubai Itinerary [Small Group Tour]

Day 1: Arrive in the UAE for your 8 Day Dubai Itinerary

Welcome to the United Arab Emirates. When you arrive at Dubai International Airport for your 8 Day Dubai Itinerary, one of our travel representatives will be standing by to meet and greet you. Once you have completed immigration procedures you will then be transferred to the hotel where you will be staying for the duration of your stay in Dubai.

Our travel representative will help to ensure you enjoy a smooth and totally hassle-free check in at your hotel, and then you will be left to enjoy the remainder of the day as you wish.

Day 2: Four Hour Dubai Cultural Tour and Dubai Marina Dinner Cruise

Enjoy an excellent breakfast at your hotel, and then at the confirmed time you will be picked up and you will be taken to the heritage area of Bastakiya where you’ll be able to get a taste of what Dubai used to look like many years ago. This delightful area of Old Dubai is best known for its wind-towered buildings, meandering paths and narrow lanes. You will also visit a 225-year old fortress called Fort Al Fahidi which is now home to the Dubai Museum.

Next, you will enjoy a very scenic Abra boat ride across Dubai Creek to see the city’s famous Gold and Spice Souks. After spending a bit of time at the souks, you will then be transferred back to your hotel for a free afternoon.

In the evening, between 19h00 and 19h45, you will again be picked up from your hotel and this time you will be driven to Dubai Marina for a truly splendid Dhow dinner cruise. Dhows are traditional wooden boats which have been used in the UAE for numerous centuries already, and this evening you will be boarding one of these delightful boats for a scrumptious buffet dinner and a cruise which typically lasts for about 2 hours.

When your cruise ends you will be met and then you will immediately be transferred back to your hotel where you will be spending the second night of your 8-day Dubai itinerary.

Day 3: Desert Safari with Dune Bashing and BBQ Dinner

Enjoy another good breakfast at your hotel and then you will have the remainder of the morning to yourself to enjoy as you wish. In the afternoon, between 14h00 and 15h15, you will be picked up from your hotel and you will head out into the desert in a deluxe air-conditioned 4×4 vehicle. Your trip into the desert will begin with some exciting dune bashing among some of the area’s most spectacular sand dunes.

After your dune bashing experience you will then drive to the top of one of the tallest sand dunes to enjoy absolutely spectacular views and an opportunity to take some breathtaking photographs. You will also have the opportunity to try your hand at some sand boarding and then you will drive to a local Bedouin campsite where you will be able to enjoy some refreshments and perhaps even a short camel ride while your hosts prepare a delicious BBQ dinner which you will get to enjoy under the stars.

Besides a mouth-watering dinner, there will also be some entertainment in the form of a belly dancing show and a Tanoura show. After a thoroughly enjoyable evening in the desert, you will then be transferred back to your hotel where you will be staying for the third night of your 8-day Dubai itinerary.

Day 4: Free Day in Dubai with Optional Excursions

Enjoy another delicious breakfast at your hotel and then enjoy the remainder of the day as you wish. There are no scheduled sightseeing tours today although you will have the option of enjoying optional sightseeing excursions that focus on the modern highlights of Dubai. If you opt for one of these excursions you can expect to see some of Dubai’s most iconic and most striking landmarks, including the world’s biggest shopping mall and the world’s tallest building.

Day 5: Abu Dhabi Full Day Tour

The 5th day of your 8 day Dubai itinerary will see you leaving Dubai and heading to the opulent city of Abu Dhabi. Enjoy one last breakfast at your Dubai hotel and then it will be time for you to check out. Today you will be picked up from your hotel between 08h30 and 09h15 and then you will be driven to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, where you will enjoy a full day of sightseeing.

On arrival in the city, your first stop will be at the magnificent Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque which is one of the largest mosques in the world. After you have had the opportunity to take some breathtaking photos of this striking complex, you will then make your way to the Corniche, a breathtaking 8 km stretch of exquisitely manicured waterfront with a pristine beach, a children’s play area, and a selection of cafes and restaurants.

Next, you will visit Heritage Village, a site which was designed specifically to remind young Emiratis of their rich and fascinating past. From here you will head to the Abu Dhabi Marina Mall which is home to literally hundreds of luxury shops as well as many souvenir stores where you can pick up something to remind you of your visit to this incredible city.

After spending some time at the mall you will then head to the relatively new Louvre Museum Abu Dhabi. Enjoy some time exploring the museum and then it will be time for one last stop which will be a brief photo stop outside the Emirates Palace. The palace is not open to visitors so you will only be able to take photos of the exterior. After a thoroughly enjoyable day out you will then be driven to the hotel where you will be staying while you are in Abu Dhabi.

Day 6: Free Day in Abu Dhabi with Optional Excursion

Take in an excellent breakfast at your hotel and then enjoy the remainder of the day as you wish. Relax at your hotel, visit the beach, go shopping or even explore your surroundings on your own. Alternatively you can opt for an optional tour to Al Ain. Al Ain, which is a cultural retreat, is frequented by residents of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. It is an oasis town and is often referred to as the garden city due to its lush green palm groves. The area is also home to some Bronze Age ruins, including some ancient tombs. Whatever you choose to do, this day of your 8-day Dubai itinerary is bound to be another thoroughly enjoyable day.

Day 7: Free Day in Abu Dhabi with Optional Excursion

Enjoy another fine breakfast and then you will have a full day in Abu Dhabi to enjoy as you wish. If you would rather embark on a sightseeing tour, you can enjoy an optional excursion to Ferrari World and/or Yas Island which are both very popular tourist attractions. Yas Island is a very popular recreational island and one of Abu Dhabi’s largest tourism projects. It is also home to the Yas Marina Circuit which has been hosting the Abu Dhabi formula 1 Grand Prix ever since 2009. If you do choose to take part in this optional excursion you will of course be driven back to your hotel once your tour is over.

Day 8: Your 8 Day Dubai Itinerary Ends and Final Departure

Enjoy another excellent breakfast at your hotel, and then at the appropriate time you will be met by one of our tour representatives who will assist you with check-out and then escort you to the airport in time for you to board your flight out of the UAE. Your grand 8 day Dubai itinerary has now come to an end but you can be sure that you will be boarding your flight with many incredible memories that will last a lifetime.
