Christmas Holiday in Morocco
DAY 1 – Arrive in Casablanca for your Christmas Holiday in Morocco
When your plane lands at Mohamed V Airport in Casablanca, one of our friendly tour representatives will be standing by to meet you and to welcome you to Morocco for what is going to be a fantastic Christmas in Morocco experience. He will also be happy to offer any assistance you may need, and then he will drive you to the hotel in Casablanca where you will be staying for the night.
When you get to the hotel, he will assist you with check-in, and then he will quickly go over your tour itinerary with you and he will confirm a pick-up time for the following day. After the formalities are over, he will leave you to enjoy the remainder of the day as you wish.

DAY 2 – Casablanca Tour and Rabat Tour
Start the second day of your 11 Day Christmas in Morocco package with a wonderful breakfast at your hotel, and get ready for a day you are not likely to forget. Shortly after breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel, and traveling in the comfort of a modern air-conditioned coach, you and the other member of your group will begin touring this fascinating imperial city, visiting several spectacular sites along the way.
Your very first stop will be at the wonderful Central Market, followed by visits to the lovely Habous district; the breathtaking Royal Palace; Mohamed V Square; historical Anfa, and finally a panoramic visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque before taking a well-deserved break for lunch.
Lunch is optional and not included in the tour price, but we do recommend enjoying a meal at one of the charming seafood restaurants in the area. After a much needed lunch break, you will once again board your coach, and you will head to the city of Rabat for even more incredible sightseeing opportunities, including a visit to the beautiful Mechouar Palace; the splendid Quadayas Garden and Kasbah; the mausoleum of Mohammed V, and finally the city’s famous Hassan Tower.
After all the day’s sightseeing activities are over, you will be driven to the hotel in the city, where you will check-in shortly before dinner is served. Enjoy a relaxing night at the hotel, or head back out on your own for some more exploring.

DAY 3 – Sightseeing Transfer from Rabat to Fez via Meknes and Volubilis
Another good breakfast awaits you in the morning, and then at the pre-arranged time, you will check out from the hotel, and you will begin the fascinating journey to Fez. Shortly before lunch, your coach will arrive in Meknes where you will be enjoy a relatively short but fascinating tour to see a number of popular historical attractions, including the city’s famous 40 kilometers of ramparts; the famous Bab Mansour gate; the Royal Stables, and the Jewish quarter.
After your tour, you and your group will have some time to enjoy a lunch of your choosing (not included), and then the coach will continue on its way to Fez via holy city of Moulay Driss. From here you will continue on to see the Ruins of Volubilis, and ancient Roman city, and then finally you will complete the journey to Fez where you will be checking in at a good hotel in time for dinner and a good night’s rest.

DAY 4 – Sightseeing Tour and Overnight in Fez
After enjoying your breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel at around 09h00, and your exciting tour of Morocco’s ancient spiritual capital will begin with an unforgettable visit to Fez’s spectacular medieval medina. After visiting the medina, you will then move on to see the Attarine or Bou Anania madrassas, the Nejjarine Fountain, Moulay Idriss Mausoleum and the truly remarkable Karaouyne Mosque.
After visiting the mosque you have time to enjoy some lunch (not included), and we recommend eating at one of the traditional restaurants located inside the medina. After lunch you will once again board your coach; you will enjoy a bit more sightseeing, and then you will be taken back to your hotel where you will once again be spending the night.

DAY 5 – Scenic and leisurely Transfer to Marrakech
Wake up and begin the 5th day of your Christmas holiday in Morocco with another good hotel breakfast, and then it will be time for you to check-out. At the agreed time, you will once again be picked up, and your scenic drive to Marrakech will begin. Along the way, you will be passing two lovely Berber villages, Imouzer and Ifrane, and a little bit later, at around lunchtime, your coach will stop at a place called Beni Mellal where everyone will have some free time to enjoy some lunch.
After lunch, the coach will continue on its way to Marrakech, arriving quite late, just in time for a good hearty dinner at the hotel where you will be staying for the night.

DAY 6 – Day Tour of Marrakech
After another delicious hotel breakfast, it will be time to explore Marrakech, Morocco’s “Pearl of the South,” a fitting name for such a charming and fascinating city. Unfortunately, it just is not possible to visit every attraction in Marrakech in just one day, but your Christmas in Morocco tour will see you visiting many of the most notable ones, including places such as the breathtaking Menara Gardens; the fascinating Dar Si Said Museum; the Bahia Palace; the Koutoubia, and the Saadien Tombs.
Unlike previous days, lunch today is included in today’s itinerary, so after a morning of non-stop sightseeing, you will be driven back to your hotel for a wonderful hotel lunch. The reason lunch is included today rather than dinner, is because we want let you have to option of enjoying dinner at the city’s famous Chez Ali restaurant while enjoying some wonderful folkloric shows under traditional tents while dinning.
After lunch at the hotel, you will be taken to explore the old souks and the handicraft quarters for a few hours. Finally, you will round of you Marrakech tour with a visit to the city’s centuries-old non-stop entertainment area known as Djemaa el Fina.
In the evening you can either choose to go back to your hotel, or you can choose to enjoy the optional dinner mentioned above. Tonight you will once again be spending the night at your hotel in Marrakech

DAY 7 – Scenic Mountain Pass Drive to Zagora
Wake up to another excellent breakfast at your hotel, and then it will be time to check-out and get ready for your incredibly scenic drive to Zagora. Once you have been picked up from your hotel, your coach will begin the journey to Ait Benhaddou, which is a relatively small village high up in the mountains. To get there, you will travel via the breathtaking 2,260 meter-high Tizi N’Tichka Pass, a mountain pass which is famous for is many hairpin bends and unforgettable scenery.
On arrival at the village, your driver will stop and you will be able to enjoy an authentic meal for lunch (optional) at a nice local restaurant near the the Kasbah. Following your stop at the village, you will continue winding your way across the beautiful Draa Valley until you reach Zagora, where you will be having dinner and spending this night of your Christmas holiday in Morocco.

DAY 8 – Transfer from Zagora to Erfoud via Nkob and Tazzarine
Wake up and enjoy a good hearty breakfast at your hotel, and then at the appropriate time, you will check-out, and you will board your coach for the wonderful journey to Erfoud, but before your journey gets underway, you will first be taken to Tamgroute to visit an old koranic library which is home to a large collection of documents dating back as far as the 12th century.
After a brief stop at the library, you will continue on your way, passing through Tansikht and Nkob, two places which are renowned for the splendid landscapes which surround them. You will also pass a number of pre-Saharian villages, as well as some Berber villages of the Sargho Mountain.
When your coach reached Tazzarine, also a small Berber village, your driver will stop, and you will have some free time to enjoy some lunch (not included). After lunch, your coach will continue on toward Erfoud via two charming little villages, Alnif and Rissani. This area is also the birthplace of the Alaouite Dynasty which still rules Morocco to this day.
Finally, you will arrive in Erfoud where you will be taken to the hotel where you will be having dinner and spending the night. You can also enjoy an optional outing tonight which will see you heading out into the the Merzouga sand dunes in a 4×4 vehicle for a BBQ dinner and a night spent under the stars in a traditional Bedouin tent. Not everyone wants to sleep under the stars in the desert, so this desert experience is optional and is not included in the cost of your Christmas in Morocco tour package.

DAY 9 – Sightseeing Transfer to Quarzazate via Tinghir
Once again, wake up to a smashing breakfast served at your hotel, and then it will be time for the breathtaking drive to Tinghir, stopping nearby to visit the dramatic Todra Canyons with their indescribable beauty. After your visit to the canyons, you will head into Tinghir where you will be able to enjoy a nice lunch of your choice (not included).
After lunch, you will then start making your way to Quarzazate, traveling along the amazing Road of 1000 Kasbahs. This is a truly pleasant drive that will see you passing a few villages such as El Kelaa de Mgouna and Skoura before finally arriving in Quarzazate in time for a nice dinner at the hotel where you will be staying for the night.

DAY 10 – Transfer from Quarzazate to Marrakech
Begin day 10 of your Christmas holiday in Morocco with another fine hotel breakfast, and then it will be time for you to check out from the hotel. Shortly after breakfast, you will once again board your coach, and you will be taken for a short but nice tour of Quarzazate before heading off to Marrakech.
The drive to Marrakech is relatively short, so you should arrive at the hotel where you will be staying shortly before lunch.
There are no outings scheduled for this day of your tour, so once you have checked in at the hotel, you will have the remainder of the day to enjoy as you wish, with dinner once again being served at the hotel in the evening.

DAY 11 – Your Christmas Holiday in Morocco Ends – Final Departure
Start the last day of your Christmas in Morocco tour package with another good breakfast, and then you will either have some time for yourself, or else you will need to check-out, depending on what time your flight is due to leave.
As usual, one of our tour representatives will meet you at the hotel at the appropriate time, and then he will transfer you to the airport in Marrakech in time for your flight back home, or to your next exciting destination. Once at the airport, you will again be assisted in any way possible, and then sadly, it will be time for final goodbyes.
