DAY 1 – 7-Day Egypt Holiday in April Begins

Your Egypt Holiday in April begins in Cairo, and you can enjoy complete peace of mind in knowing that your tour manager will be at Cairo International Airport to meet you when you arrive. Once you have passed through immigration and you have collected your luggage, you will be assisted in every way possible, and then your tour manager and one of our drivers will take you to the 5-Star hotel where you will be spending the night.

On arrival at the hotel, you will be assisted with check-in, and a pick-up time will be confirmed with you for the next day. Your tour manager will then leave you to enjoy the rest of the day as you wish, and you can also enjoy a free Welcome Drink on us.

DAY 2 – Cairo Tour

Our Classic 7-Day Egypt Holiday in April is all about non-stop fun and adventure, and this is the day it all begins. First, wake up and enjoy an excellent breakfast at your hotel, and then shortly after you have eaten, it will be time for you to check out from the hotel.

At the time which was agreed with you yesterday, you will be fetched; your luggage will be loaded into one of our modern an air-conditioned vehicles, and then you will head off to the Giza Plateau to see the famous Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, the Valley Temple, and more. This tour last until about lunchtime, so once it is over, you will be taken for lunch at a good local restaurant.

After lunch, you will then head to the Egyptian Museum which is home to the world’s most extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. While at the museum, you will also be taken to see the Treasures Room, an area of the museum which is devoted to displaying nearly all of the artifacts that were found in Tutankhamen’s tomb when it was first discover in the early 20th century.

Following your visit to the museum, it will be time for you to go and enjoy the last attraction of the day, the notorious Khan El Khalili Bazaar which is located in the Islamic Quarter. This vast bazaar has been open for business for more than 600 years already, and no trip to Cairo is complete without a visit to this bustling bazaar.

Finally, with a long fun-filled day behind you, you will be driven back to your hotel for the night.

DAY 3 – Nile Cruise Embarkation and Aswan Tour

Wake up to another good breakfast and then at the pre-arranged time, you will be picked up and taken to the airport for your short flight to Aswan. When you land in Aswan, one of our tour managers and a driver will meet you at the airport; they will offer any assistance that may be required, and then they will take you to board your 5-Star Nile cruise liner.

Once you board, you will be checked in, and you will have some time to drop off your belonging in your cabin. A first-class lunch will also be served shortly after boarding, and then once you have finish eating, you will have A bit of time for yourself and then you will enjoy the first excursion which will see you visiting the Unfinished Obelisk, and the remarkable ancient temple of Philae. Return to the ship after your tour, and then you will be free to enjoy the rest of the day as you wish.

DAY 4 – Cruise to Esna with Excursions at Kom Ombo and Edfu

Enjoy a delicious breakfast while you are busy sailing towards Kom Ombo. When you reach Kom Ombo, you will enjoy a wonderful excursion to see the Temple of Sobek, also often called Kom Ombo Temple. This classic, one-of-a-kind temple was devoted to two gods, Horus the Elder, and Sobek, the crocodile god. After your tour, you will return to the ship in time for a good lunch which will be served while you are sailing to Edfu.

On arrival at Edfu, you will enjoy another excursion, this time to see Horus Temple, best-preserved temple of its kind ever discovered. The reason for this being, it eventually got buried under the desert sand after the Romans abandoned it, and it remained buried for more than 2,000 years. After your tour, you will return to the ship and it will sail to Esna. Enjoy this night of your Easter Holiday Travel Deal on the water at Esna.

DAY 5 – Luxor West Bank Tour

Wake up to another hearty breakfast on board the ship while sailing to Luxor. Shortly after arriving in Luxor, you will be taken for a tour on the West Bank. First you will head to a sprawling ancient necropolis known as Valley of the Kings. This was essentially a royal burial ground, although some nobles and other people of high standing were also laid to rest in tombs at this site. More than 60 tombs have been discovered here. The tombs you will see here are rock cut tombs that were created over a period of around 500 years, from the 16th to the 11th century BC.

While the area is home to many royal tombs, it is the tombs of Tutankhamen and Ramses VI which are the most famous of them all. Next, you will be taken to see the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, and then you will return to the ship and you will have the remainder of the day to yourself.

DAY 6 – Disembarkation, East Bank Tour, and Flight to Cairo

Enjoy breakfast at the usual time, and then it will be time for you to check out and disembark. After disembarkation, you will be taken to visit Karnak, one of the most visited monuments in Egypt. Rather than being a single temple, Karnak was more or less a city in its own right, and consisted of numerous temples; chapels, and other types of buildings. Unfortunately, most of the original complex has been ravaged by time and conflicts, but there is still so much to see at the site.

After Karnak, you will also visit Luxor Temple and then you will be driven to the airport in time for you to board your flight to Cairo. On arrival at the airport in Cairo, your tour manager will be there to meet you, along with one of our drivers, and you will then be taken to the hotel where you will be staying today and tonight. On arrival at your hotel, you will be assisted with check-in, and then you will be left on your own to enjoy the last night of your Egypt holiday in April.

DAY 7 – Egypt Holiday in April Ends

Sadly, your Egypt Holiday in April comes to an end today, but before you go anywhere, first sit down for one last 5-Star breakfast in Egypt, and then at the appropriate time, your tour manager and one of our drivers will arrive at your hotel. You will be assisted with check-out, and then they will take you to Cairo International Airport.

When you get to the airport, you will again be assisted in every way possible, and then unfortunately it will be time to say goodbye so that you can proceed through immigration in time for your fight back home. At this point, we bid you farewell, and we thank you for trusting with your holiday plans.
