Day Tour to Cairo and Pyramids from Port Said Port

In the morning, on the day that your day tour to Cairo and Pyramids from Port Said Port is scheduled to begin, our tour representative will meet you at the Port Said exit gate, holding a sign with your name written on it. Once the two of you have met up, you will then begin the drive to Cairo, a journey which takes roughly 3 hours. If you would like a short rest break along the way you can simply let your guide and driver know.

When you reach Cairo you will drive directly to the Giza Necropolis, which is home to the legendary Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx. First you will visit the Great Pyramid which belonged to Pharaoh Khufu. After that you will visit the other two pyramids: the pyramid of Pharaoh Khafre and the pyramid of Pharaoh Menkaura. You will also visit the Valley Temple which is a part of Pharaoh Khafre’s pyramid complex. The Valley Temple was constructed to serve as a mortuary temple for the Pharaoh and his family members.

Next, you will take a leisurely stroll to the Great Sphinx. If you would prefer not to walk, there are camel rides available from the pyramids to the Sphinx. However, camel rides are not included in the price of our day tour to Cairo and Pyramids from Port Said Port.

Following your visit to the necropolis you will then be taken to a good local restaurant for some lunch. After you have finished your meal you will drive to the heart of downtown Cairo where you will visit the world famous Egyptian Museum. This incredible museum has more than 100,000 artifacts and relics on display.

After your museum tour, you will then be taken to attend a demonstration showing how the ancient Egyptians made paper from reeds. Next will be some free leisure time, and then at around 6:00 p.m. you will drive back to Port Said Port where you will be dropped off at the entrance gate. Your 12 hour day trip to Cairo from Port Said has now come to an end, but you will be leaving Egypt with memories that you will be able to cherish forever.
