Day Tour to Cairo from Alexandria Port

An Egypt Tours Plus representative will meet you at Alexandria Port upon your cruise ship’s arrival, holding a sign with your name at the exit door. From there, enjoy a private shore excursion to Cairo in a modern air-conditioned vehicle, with the journey taking approximately three hours, including a stop along the way for a short rest if needed.

Upon arrival in Cairo, your private guide will accompany you to the Giza Plateau, where you will marvel at the Great Pyramids of Giza—one of the Seven Wonders of the World. You will also visit the iconic Sphinx and the Valley Temple.

After your pyramids visit, enjoy lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant before continuing to the New Grand Egyptian Museum, also known as the Giza Museum. Located around 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Giza pyramid complex, the museum is currently offering limited access ahead of its official opening. Visitors can explore selected areas including the Main Galleries, Grand Hall, Grand Staircase, commercial zone, and the exterior gardens.

At the end of the tour, your guide will escort you back to your cruise ship at Alexandria Port.
