On the day that your overnight trip to Cairo from Port Said Port is due to begin, your guide will meet you at the port exit gate holding up a sign with your name written on it. After you have met each other, you will then begin the drive to Cairo a journey which takes roughly 3 hours on average.
When You Reach Cairo you will head directly to the ancient Giza Necropolis to see some of the world’s most famous ancient monuments: the Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx, The iconic statue of a lion with the head of a human, which is believed to be a depiction of pharaoh Khafre.

Once you enter the site you will visit the Great Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu; the Pyramid of Pharaoh Khafre, and the Pyramid of Pharaoh Menkaura, which is the smallest of the three pyramids. While you are at the site you will also visit the Valley Temple which belonged to Pharaoh Khafre. The temple of constructed to serve as a mortuary temple, both for the pharaoh and his family members.
After visiting the three pyramids and the temple you will then walk to the Great Sphinx. Alternatively, you can get from the pyramids to the Sphinx by way of a camel ride, but the cost of a camel ride is not included in the price of our overnight trip to Cairo from Port Said Port.
Following your tour of the Giza Necropolis, you will then be taken to a good quality local restaurant to enjoy some lunch. After lunch you will drive to Saqqara where you will visit another ancient necropolis which is home to the Great Step Pyramid of Pharaoh Djozer. This was the very first pyramid ever constructed by the ancient Egyptians. It is also the oldest man-made major stone structure in the world.

Enjoy your tour at Saqqara and then you will be taken to check in at a five-star hotel. Once you have checked in you will be left on your own to enjoy the remainder of the day and evening as you wish.

After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the New Grand Egyptian Museum, also known as the Giza Museum, located approximately 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Giza pyramid complex. As part of its current preview phase ahead of the official opening, visitors have limited access to selected areas of the museum, including the Main Galleries, Grand Hall, Grand Staircase, commercial zone, and exterior gardens.

After the visit, enjoy lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant before continuing to the Egyptian Museum in the heart of historic Downtown Cairo, overlooking the famous Tahrir Square.

Explore its extraordinary collection of ancient Egyptian treasures and artifacts before transferring by modern air-conditioned vehicle to the port.
Return to your cruise ship in Port Said for your final departure.
