8-Hour Hurghada Diving Day Trip

When you book one of our 8-hour Hurghada Diving Day Trips, one of our tour representatives will meet you at your hotel at about 08h00. You will then be transferred to one of the top dive shops in the area. On arrival, you will have the chance to meet and interact with your fellow divers, and each diver will be issued with their own set of diving equipment. Non-divers or those who are not in possession of a PADI certificate will be issued with snorkeling gear instead.

Once everyone has received their equipment, it will be time to board the dive boat for your trip to Giftun Island. Giftun Island actually refers to a small group of islands that are just off the coast of Hurghada. Getting to the islands only takes a short while, so you will be donning your gear and getting in the water in almost no time at all.

Our SCUBA guides are all professional guides who are thoroughly familiar with the area. Most are also certified and licensed instructors, so you will be in good hands. Please be aware that it is a criminal offence to remove or attempt to remove any coral. The penalties can be severe and your guide is obligated to document and report any such offences.

Our Hurghada Diving Day Trips are all about having fun, both in and out of the water, so please abide by the rules, and obey any instructions you get from your guide. The Red Sea coast around Hurghada is home to 44 world-class dive sites. Of these, 14 of them are in the waters around Giftun Island, and our Hurghada Diving Day Trips include dives at a number of these sites.

Of course, if at any time you feel like a break, you are welcome to simply relax on board the boat for a while. All dives during your trip will be to a depth of between 20 to 30 meters. Please do not descend deeper than 30 meter without explicit consent from your guide or instructor.

A nice lunch will be served at around midday, followed by a little bit of time for relaxing, and then more diving will follow. Once your diving comes to an end, your boat will head back to shore. After handing back all your SCUBA diving and/or snorkeling equipment, our tour representative will then transfer you back to your hotel.
