When you arrive in Cairo, you will meet up with your Expert guide, and this is when your day trip from Hurghada to Cairo by car gets really interesting. Our day trip from Hurghada to Cairo by car is all about showing you the top Cairo tourist attractions, so after lunch we visit the famous Egyptian Museum. The Egyptian Museum houses the world’s largest and most valuable collection of Ancient Egyptian relics.

One of the most popular parts of the museum is an area called the Treasures Room. This is where you will be able to see all the artifacts that were discovered in the tomb of King Tutankhamen. All the artifacts in this area, along with all the gold and other treasures, were placed in his tomb with his mummy, and they remained in there for more than 3,500 years.

There is also a specially equipped Mummies Room at the museum in which a number of mummies are on display. However, since some people might find this offensive, we do not include the Mummies Room in our day trip from Hurghada to Cairo by car. Tickets for the Mummies Room can be purchased at the museum if you decide that you would like to see the mummies.

Next, we head to an area of the city known as Coptic Cairo to see some early Christian and Jewish heritage. During this part of your tour, you will be taken to see the famous Hanging Church of Cairo, as well as the historical Ben Ezra Synagogue.

After visiting Coptic Cairo, we then make our way to an area known as Islamic Cairo where we will visit the famous Khan el Khalili Bazaar. This bazaar has essentially been open since the late 14th-century. Cairo might have so great shopping malls, but most ordinary Egyptians in Cairo still rely on this bazaar for the daily shopping needs.

Khan el Khalili is a massive bazaar, and it would be impossible to explore the entire bazaar in a day, so we will just focus on the best and most fascinating parts. This is the last place we visit during tour so once you are ready, it will be time for the drive back to Hurghada where you will then be dropped off back at hotel and your Day Trip from Hurghada to Cairo by Car will be over.
