Enjoy a nourishing breakfast at your hotel before departing with your personal guide to the Giza Plateau. There, you’ll begin your exploration of one of the world’s Seven Wonders — the Great Pyramids of Giza. Visit the Sphinx and Valley Temple, then enjoy lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant.

Later, head to the newly built Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), situated about 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) from the pyramids.

Your memorable day will conclude with an overnight stay in Cairo.

Following breakfast, your expert guide will escort you to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, which houses Egypt’s royal mummies and a fascinating collection chronicling the nation’s vast history.

Continue to Old Cairo to explore its ancient churches before stopping for lunch at a local eatery. In the afternoon, visit the majestic Salah El-Din Citadel, where you’ll tour the grand Mohammed Ali Mosque and enjoy sweeping views across Cairo.

Your day concludes with an overnight stay in Cairo.

The next phase of your Dahabiya Nile sailing trip begins today, which means that you will need to check out from your hotel shortly after breakfast so that we can drive you to the airport in time for you to board a flight to Luxor. When you land in Luxor, you will again be met at the airport, and then you will be taken to board your beautiful Dahabiya river yacht.

A delicious lunch will be served shortly after boarding, and then your Expert guide will take you to see three wonderful sites in Luxor: the Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple complex, and the Luxor Museum. Enjoy some free time relaxing aboard the Dahabiya after your tour, and then it will be time for dinner to be served.

This night of your Dahabiya Nile sailing vacation will be spent on the water in Luxor.

Today, after breakfast on board, you will visit the Luxor West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, the rock-cut mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. After your tour, return to the Dahabiya for lunch and some relaxation.

In the afternoon, the Dahabiya will depart and sail towards Edfu. Enjoy the tranquil journey along the Nile, with dinner served on board. You will spend this night of your luxury Dahabiya cruise on the water near Edfu.

After breakfast on board, you will be taken to see Edfu Temple, also known as the Temple of Horus. A traditional horse-drawn carriage will transport you to the temple and back to your Dahabiya after your tour.

Enjoy lunch back on the Dahabiya, and then it will sail to Gebel el Silsila. While sailing, you will witness historical sites along the way. There are no further excursions planned for this day, so you will have the remainder of the day to yourself, and you will spend this night of your luxury Dahabiya cruise on the water near Gebel el Silsila.

Today, your Dahabiya will make an early departure, and you will be served breakfast while sailing to Gebel el Silsila, where you will see a number of historical sites before continuing on to Beshir Island. Lunch will be served along the way.

After arriving in Beshir Island, enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner. This night of your Dahabiya Nile sailing vacation will be spent in your cabin on the water near the island.

After breakfast today, you will have some time for relaxation and swimming at Bashir Island’s sandy beach. Shortly before lunchtime, the Dahabiya will depart and sail to Herdiab Island. Lunch will be served along the way.

In the afternoon, enjoy some tea while witnessing a spectacular sunset. Dinner will be served on board, and this night of your Dahabiya Nile sailing vacation will be spent on the water near Herdiab Island.

After breakfast, you can further enjoy the surroundings of Herdiab Island. Later in the morning, the Dahabiya will depart and sail to Aswan. Upon arrival in Aswan, your guide will take you to see the Unfinished Obelisk, and the incredible ancient Temple of Philae.

After your tour, return to the Dahabiya for some relaxation. In the evening, the Dahabiya will sail to Kom Ombo. Dinner will be served on board, and you will spend this night of your Dahabiya Nile sailing vacation on the water near Kom Ombo.

Sadly, your luxury Dahabiya Nile sailing trip ends today, so once you have finished your lunch, it will be time for you to check out and disembark. We will transfer you to Luxor Airport where you will board a short flight back to Cairo.

On arrival at the airport in Cairo, your tour manager will meet you, discuss your trip with you, and escort you to the airport’s International Departures hall in time for you to board your flight back home.
