Starting at USD 2329 per person

Day 1: Arrival for your Cairo, Abu Simbel, Nile Cruise and Jordan Tour

After you have been checked in, a pick up time will be confirmed with you for the next day’s tour and then you will have the rest of the day to yourself.

Day 2: Giza Plateau and the GEM

After starting your day with a wholesome breakfast at the hotel, your personal guide will escort you to the Giza Plateau to begin your adventure. Marvel at one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the awe-inspiring Great Pyramids of Giza. While exploring the Plateau, take time to visit the iconic Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Once you’ve concluded your pyramid visit, enjoy lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant.

Following lunch, head to the New Grand Egyptian Museum, also known as the Giza Museum, an impressive archaeological site about 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Giza Pyramids. Currently, the GEM Complex offers limited access, allowing visitors a preview of the Main Galleries, Grand Hall, Grand Staircase, commercial spaces, and surrounding gardens as part of its pre-opening phase.

Once you are ready, we will return you to your hotel and you will have the rest of the afternoon/evening to yourself.

Day 3: Fly to Aswan and Aswan Tour

Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel and then you will be checking out from your hotel so that we can get you to the airport in time for your short flight to Aswan.

Of course, when you land in Aswan you will again be met, this time by one of our Expert tour guides who will take you so see 2 fascinating Aswan sites: the massive Unfinished Obelisk, and the incredible ancient Temple of Philae. This temple was moved in its entirety to higher ground to save it from being lost to Lake Nasser when the High Dam was built.

After your tour, you will be taken to check-in at your hotel in Aswan, and then you will have the rest of the day to yourself. We recommend that you have an early night because we will be leaving for the Abu Simbel Temples at around 03h00 tomorrow morning.

Meals Included: Breakfast

Day 4: Abu Simbel Temples and Nile Cruise Embarkation

Today we will be picking you up from your hotel at 03h00, and you will be given a Breakfast Box when you check-out so that you can enjoy some breakfast during your trip to the Abu Simbel Temples  which is about a 3 hour drive from Aswan. When you reach this site, you will immediately realize that all the pictures in the world cannot convey just how amazing these two massive rock-carved temples actually are.

Pharaoh Ramses II had these temples created to serve as lasting monuments to him and his wife, Queen Nefertari, and also as a symbol of his great power and the success he had in a number of great battles. While it might seem impossible to believe, both of the gigantic complexes were meticulously dismantled and moved to their current location from lower ground. Had they not been moved, they would have been lost forever when Lake Nasser formed as a result of the Aswan High Dam being built.

Once you have finished exploring and admiring the temples, you will then be driven back to Aswan and you will be taken to board your beautifully appointed 5-Star river boat for your cruise along the Nile from Aswan to Luxor.

Begin the 5th day of your Cairo, Abu Simbel, Nile Cruise and Jordan tour with a nice on-board breakfast, and then your cruise ship will depart from Aswan and it will sail to Kom Ombo. When you arrive our Expert guide will take you and some of our other clients for a small group tour to visit the intriguing Temple of Kom Ombo which is essentially two temples in one.

One half of the temple was dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, while the other half was dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus. It is believed to be the only twin temple complex ever built the ancient Egyptians.

After your tour, you will return to your cruise ship, and it will set sail for Edfu, with a nice lunch served along the way. When you reach Edfu, our guide will take you on another wonderful excursion, this time to visit Egypt’s best preserved ancient cult temple, the Edfu Temple of Horus. This temple was buried beneath the sand after it was deserted and it remained buried for more than 2,000 years, hence the reasons for its high level of preservation.

On returning to the cruise ship, it will continue sailing and it will dock at Esna where you will enjoy another good dinner and another good night’s sleep on the quiet waters of the Nile.

Today, once you have eaten breakfast, the cruise ship will sail to Luxor. Shortly after arrival, we will be visiting 3 amazing ancient sites on Luxor’s West Bank: Valley of the Kings; the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon.  Valley of the Kings is home to more than 60 ancient tombs. It is also home to one of the world’s most desirable ancient attractions, the tomb of King Tutankhamun.

Your visit to the Valley of Kings includes entry to some of the tombs. However, several of the other tombs have been designated as “special” tombs, and to see inside these visitors are required to purchase the necessary tickets which are available at the site.
