5-Day Cairo to Luxor Tour Package

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, an Egypt Tours Plus representative will meet you inside the terminal and assist you with arrival procedures before escorting you in a private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Cairo.

At the hotel, your tour manager will assist with check-in, review your itinerary, and confirm the schedule for the coming days. You will also receive contact details for 24-hour support throughout your stay. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax and settle in after your flight.

On day 2 of your Cairo Luxor Tour, once you eat your breakfast at the hotel you will be taken by guide to the Giza Plateau, the first of the seven wonders of the ancient world you will be seeing. There you will be seeing the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, Mykerinus, and even the Sphinx.

Once you have taken in this incredible view you will head over to the all-new Grand Egyptian Museum, home to an extraordinary collection of ancient artifacts just a short distance from the pyramids. After your visit, return to your hotel in Cairo and enjoy the evening at leisure.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Cairo Airport for a short domestic flight to Luxor (approximately one hour). Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and taken to your hotel to drop off your luggage before beginning your exploration of the East Bank.

Start with a visit to the impressive Karnak Temple Complex, renowned for its towering papyrus-style columns, obelisks, and sacred lake. Then continue along the Nile to Luxor Temple, ideally located in the heart of the city and historically linked to Karnak by the Avenue of Sphinxes.

In the evening, you have the option to attend the Sound & Light Show at Karnak Temple (available as a pre-booked add-on), where the site is illuminated while a narrated presentation brings the history of ancient Thebes to life.

Begin your day with the option of an early morning hot air balloon ride over Luxor’s West Bank (pre-bookable add-on, subject to weather conditions), offering breathtaking views of the Nile, farmlands, and ancient tombs at sunrise.

After breakfast, head across to the West Bank to discover the historic necropolis. Explore the Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom, then continue to the remarkable Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, set dramatically against the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari.

Conclude with a photo stop at the impressive Colossi of Memnon before returning to the East Bank.

After this you will be driven to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo where you will once again be met and driven to your hotel in Cairo.

Sadly, day five of your Cairo Luxor Tour will be a day for heavy hearts and fragile emotions since it marks the end of your magical Cairo Luxor package vacation. Eat a good breakfast at your hotel, then you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport where members of our staff will assist with luggage and check-in. After that has been taken care of it will be time to say goodbye.
