7-Day Egypt December Package w/ Nile Cruise [Group Tour]

No matter what time you arrive in Cairo for your Egypt December Package, your tour manager is going to be at the airport waiting for you. You will be assisted in every way possible, including with our Fast Track service which will help you to avoid long queues at the airport.

Once you clear the airport, you will then be taken to your hotel in a modern air-conditioned vehicle. On arrival at the hotel your tour manager will ensure a smooth and hassle-free check in, and briefly discuss your tour itinerary with you to confirm pickup times for the tours which lie ahead. After this you will be left to enjoy the rest of the day as you wish.

Your Egypt December Package gets into full swing today, so once you have had your breakfast, we will be heading out to the Giza Plateau to see Egypt’s most iconic attractions, the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx.

After spending the morning at the Giza necropolis, you will then be taken to a good local restaurant for lunch, and once you have finished eating, we will move on to another fantastic Egyptian attraction, the Grand Egyptian Museum.

There are tens of thousands of artifacts on display in the museum that represent Egypt’s long and incredible history. Your tour also includes admission for the museum’s Treasures Room which has been set aside for displaying all the artifacts that were recovered from the tomb of King Tutankhamen by Howard Carter in the early 20th century.

Next, your guide and your driver will take you to the Islamic Quarter to visit the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar where traders have been operating since the bazaar first opened during the 14th century.

Finally, you will be driven back to your hotel where you will be able to enjoy a good night’s rest before you leave for Aswan in the morning.

After breakfast your tour manager and one of our drivers will escort you to Cairo Airport, where you will board a flight to Aswan. When you land in Aswan you will again be met by one of our representatives and you will be taken to board your 5-Star cruise ship that will be taking you for an unforgettable cruise to Luxor.

Lunch will be served shortly after you board the vessel, and then once you have finished eating, on of our Expert tour guides will take you and a small group of our other clients for some sightseeing in Aswan.

The first place you will visit will be the Unfinished Obelisk which is the largest obelisk ever discovered, and then you will enjoy a visit to the truly spectacular Philae Temple, which today sits on a new location after having being moved in its entirety from lower ground to save it from the flooding of Lake Nasser.

Dinner will be served back on board the vessel in the evening, and you will spend this night of your Egypt December Package on the water in Aswan.

Wake up on the water in Aswan and begin the 4th day of your Egypt December Package with another good breakfast while you are sailing to Kom Ombo. Once you arrive, your guide will then take you and your small group to see the Temple of Kom Ombo; a fascinating ancient complex which was once dedicated to two different gods.

Enjoy lunch on the ship and another leisurely cruise, this time to Edfu where you will be taken to see the best preserved temple of the ancient world, the Temple of Edfu which was constructed to honor Horus the falcon-headed God.

After your tour, you will return to the ship and it will then continue on to Esna. Enjoy dinner on board in the evening, and another wonderful night’s sleep on the quiet waters of the Nile.

Enjoy a 5-Star breakfast and a lovely cruise to Luxor where you will enjoy a truly unforgettable onshore excursion to explore some of the best attractions on Luxor’s West Bank.

Here you will visit one of Egypt’s biggest archeological discoveries, the Valley of the Kings. This is an ancient royal burial ground where archeologists have so far uncovered more than 60 ancient tombs, including the tomb of Ramses VI and the tomb of King Tutankhamen.

After visiting the Valley of Kings, you will visit the amazing rock-carved Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and then you will start making your way back to the boat, stopping briefly along the way to see the thought-provoking Colossi of Memnon.

Enjoy lunch once you get back to the cruise ship, and have the remainder of the day for leisure and relaxation. Afternoon Tea and Dinner will be served at usual times, and you will be spending this night of your Egypt December package on the water at Luxor

Start the 6th day of your Egypt December Package with one last breakfast aboard the ship, and then it will be time for final disembarkation and your tour of the Luxor East Bank.

First you will visit Karnak, the ruins of an ancient temple city. While this sprawling site consists mostly of ruins, there is still plenty to see.

After your visit to Karnak, you will then be taken to see Luxor Temple, another ancient temple, and one which was never dedicated to any gods or goddesses.

Enjoy some time exploring and taking photos of the Temple, and then at the appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport in time for you to board your flight back to Cairo.

When you arrive in Cairo, you will once again be met by one of our tour representatives, and then you will be driven to the hotel where you will be staying for the last night of your Egypt December Package.

After breakfast, and at the appropriate time, you will need to check-out, and then you will be driven back to Cairo International Airport in time for your flight back home.
