No matter what time of the day or night you arrive at Cairo International Airport, your tour manager will be there waiting for you. They will assist you in every way possible, and then they will escort you in a modern air-conditioned vehicle to the luxury hotel where you will be spending the first night of your 10 Day SS MISR Nile Cruise vacation.

Once at the hotel, your tour manager will assist you with check-in, and then they will go over your tour itinerary with you, and they will confirm pick-up times from your hotel in the mornings. With all formalities taken care of, you can enjoy a free “Welcome Drink” on us, and have the remainder of the day to yourself to do anything you wish.

Wake up and enjoy a fabulous breakfast at your hotel, and get for real sightseeing extravaganza.

After a delightful Egyptian breakfast, your personal guide will accompany you to the Giza Plateau to begin your day admiring one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Great Pyramids of Giza.

Stroll around the Plateau, taking in sights of the iconic Sphinx and Valley Temple. Once your visit to the pyramids is complete, you’ll enjoy lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant, followed by a trip to the Sakkara district to see the Sakkara Complex and the Djoser Pyramid, the oldest pyramid in existence. Overnight in Cairo.

Following breakfast, your first destination will be the New Grand Egyptian Museum, also known as the Giza Museum, located in Giza, Egypt, about 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Giza pyramid complex.

Afterward, you’ll enjoy lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant. Next, you’ll visit the Egyptian Museum in the heart of historic Downtown Cairo, overlooking the renowned Tahrir Square. Here, you’ll explore magnificent ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures and then you will be driven to Cairo International Airport where you will be boarding a flight to Luxor.

On arrival at Luxor, you will again be met and assisted at the airport, and then you will be driven to the luxury hotel where you will be spending your first night in Luxor. Once again, your tour manager will confirm a pick-up time for the next day, and then the remainder of the day and evening will be yours to enjoy as you wish.

After enjoying a good breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up at the agree time, and you will then be taken to the area where you will be boarding the SS MISR Nile steamer, a classic British built vessel that was made by the Royal Navy in 1918, before later being converted into a luxury river steamer for King Farouk.

Today, the SS MISR Nile Cruise has been lovingly restored into a luxury 5-Star Nile River steamer capable of carrying no more than 45 passengers in its spacious and exquisitely decorated cabins and suites.

Shortly after boarding, you will be served your first delicious lunch on board this deluxe vessel, and then at around 14h00 you will disembark for some sightseeing on Luxor’s East Bank, visiting two incredibly popular ancient sites: the vast Karnak Temple complex and Luxor Temple.

After you have had ample time to explore these sites, you will head back to the SS MISR Nile Cruise where you will have some time to relax or freshen up before dinner is served at 19h30.

After dinner, the rest of the evening is yours. Enjoy the vessel’s many amenities; relax out on the deck, or enjoy a drink under the stars on your own private balcony before finally enjoying a good night’s sleep in your luxurious cabin on the water at Luxor.

Today begins with a fantastic breakfast, and you will disembark, this time to see the best Luxor attractions on the West Bank.

First, you will visit Valley of the Kings, and vast ancient necropolis that served as the final resting place for royals and certain nobles. More than 60 tombs have been discovered in this area, including the tomb of King Tutankhamen.

Next, you will visit a similar site known as Valley of the Queens, and then you will make your way to see the extremely impressive mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a vast temple which was carved out of the surrounding rock.

After an amazing morning of sightseeing, you will head back to the SS MISR Nile Cruise where you will be served an excellent lunch at 13h00 while you are sailing towards Edfu. Spend the afternoon relaxing, or doing whatever you wish.

At 17h00 afternoon tea will be served, followed by a Welcome Cocktail Reception at 19h00. Dinner will be served at 19h30, and you will then have the rest of the night to yourself. Tonight you will be sleeping on the water at Edfu.

Today gets underway with an early breakfast which will be served at 06h00, and then your group will disembark for a visit to Edfu Temple, one of the best-preserved temples in all of Egypt, which is largely due to the fact that it was buried beneath the sand for around 2000 years.

After everyone has had time to explore this remarkable site, you will head back to the ship in time for a 09h30 departure which will see you sailing towards Kom Ombo.

Lunch will along the way at 13h00, and then at 16h30 you will disembark at Kom Ombo for a visit to the famous Kom Ombo temple which was once dedicated to two different gods: Sobek the crocodile god, and Horus the falcon-headed god.

Everyone will then return to the SS MISR Nile Cruise, which will depart at 18h30 and begin making its way to Aswan. Enjoy another wonderful onboard dinner at 19h30, followed by an enjoyable Tarboosh Night at 21h30 and a lovely night’s sleep on the water at Aswan

Day 7 of your 10 Day SS MISR Nile Cruise kicks off with another early breakfast being served in the spectacular dining area 06h30, followed by an early morning excursion for some fantastic sightseeing in Aswan that will see you visiting places such as the Aswan High Dam; the strikingly wonderful Temple of Philae, and the Unfinished Obelisk.

Lunch be served back on the steamer at 13h00, and then at 14h00 you will disembark, and you will board a traditional Felucca boat for a scenic sail around Kitchener’s Island.

You will then head back to the ship in time for afternoon tea which will be served at 16h30, followed by some free time for leisure and relaxation before dinner is served at 19h30. This night will also be spent on the water at Aswan.

Wake up and enjoy one last breakfast on board the classicSS MISR Nile Cruise, and then it will be time for you to disembark. When you leave the ship, your tour manager will be there to meet you and assist you, and then you will be escorted to the luxury hotel where you will be spend this day and tonight.

There are no activities scheduled for today, but your tour manager will be happy to arrange van optional tour if you want, or else you can simply spending the day doing whatever you wish.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast at your hotel, you will again be picked up at the agreed time, and you will be driven to Aswan Airport in a modern air-conditioned vehicle so that you can board your flight back to Cairo. On arrival in Cairo, you will again be met, and then driven to the luxury hotel where you will be spending the last day and night of your 10 Day SS MISR Nile Cruise vacation.

No activities are planned for this day, so once you have checked-in at your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy. Relax at the hotel, head out and explore the city, or take advantage of one of the many short tours which are available in Cairo.

Unfortunately, today is the day where we part ways, but before you say goodbye, first enjoy another fine hotel breakfast while you marvel at all the incredible things you have seen during your Nile cruise vacation.

At the agreed time, you will again be picked up at your hotel, and then you will be taken to Cairo International Airport for your final departure. Your Egypt vacation will have come to an end, but the memories you have will live with you forever, and no doubt you will return again in the future.
