4-Day Cruise On Board The Movenpick MS Royal Lily

When you arrive in Aswan for 4-Day Aswan to Luxor cruise, one of our tour reps will waiting to meet and greet you at the airport or at Aswan railway station, and then you will be escorted in a modern air-conditioned vehicle to the point of embarkation where you will board the much loved Movenpick MS Royal Lily.

After you have had some time to make yourself at home in your cabin, you will be served a lovely lunch on board the boat, and then it will be time for some unforgettable sightseeing opportunities.

First, you will head to see the famous Aswan High Dam, followed by a visit to incredibly impressive Temple of Philae that was relocated in its entirety to spare it from the rising waters of the dam.

After visiting the ancient temple, you will move on to see the giant Unfinished Obelisk, and then finally you will return to the Movenpick MS Royal Lily where you will be enjoying an onboard dinner and spending the night.

Wake up to a wonderful onboard breakfast and set sail for Kom Ombo, enjoying a delicious lunch and afternoon tea along the way. On arrival in Kom Ombo, you will disembark for a fascinating visit to the ancient Kom Ombo Temple that was built for two gods, Sobek and Haeroris.

After visiting this remarkable historical site, you will board the Movenpick MS Royal Lily and it will begin sailing towards Edfu where you will be spending the night onboard. Dinner will be served along the way or on arrival at Edfu.

Wake up on the water and enjoy another good onboard breakfast. After breakfast, you will disembark for a visit to the famous Temple of Horus at Edfu which is a prominent feature of most Nile River cruises.

After spending some time at the temple you will return the boat, and it will then begin its journey to Luxor, with lunch and afternoon tea being served along the way.

On arrival in Luxor, you will visit the city’s East Bank to explore the ancient Karnak temple complex which was constructed over a period of about 2000 year, and then you be taken see inspiring Temple.

After visiting these two remarkable attractions you will return to the boat for an excellent dinner and a spectacular belly dancing show. Tonight will be spent on the water in Luxor.

Wake up on the last day of your Aswan to Luxor Nile cruise and enjoy another good onboard breakfast. After breakfast, you will disembark for a visit to the West Bank where you will have time to explore two of Egypt’s most famous ancient sites. Your first stop will be at the Valley of Kings, a vast ancient necropolis where more than 70 royal tombs have been discovered, including the tomb of King Tutankhamen which still houses his mummy to this day.

After visiting the Valley of the Kings you will be taken to visit the incredibly impressive rock-carved Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Finally, one of our tour representatives will escort you in a modern air-conditioned vehicle to Luxor airport or Luxor train station, depending on what your travel plans are.
