Once you have passed through immigration, you will then be transferred to your hotel in one of our deluxe air-conditioned vehicles. You tour manager will ensure you enjoy a smooth check-in and then discuss your itinerary with you and confirm a pick-up time for the following day’s tour. Enjoy a free Welcome Drink at the hotel, and then spend the remainder of the day as you wish. Our 7-day Ancient Egypt Tour really get into full swing today. Enjoy a good breakfast at your hotel, and then at the confirmed time, your Expert guide and driver will fetch you for your sightseeing tour. Your first stop today will be at the ancient Giza necropolis to see the famous pyramids and the Sphinx, and also the Valley Temple. After your tour of the pyramids, you will be taken for lunch at a good local restaurant, and then you will visit the Egyptian Museum. The collection of relics and artifacts at this museum is simply amazing. Don’t forget to check out the Treasures Room to see all the artifacts that were recovered from the tomb of King Tutankhamen. Next, you will be taken to see the centuries-old Khan el Khalili Bazaar. This is one of the biggest and oldest bazaars in the entire Middle East. No trip to Cairo is complete without visiting the bazaar at least once. After spending some time at the bazaar, you will be driven back to your hotel for the night. Check-out from your hotel at the confirmed time, and then you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Aswan. When you land at the airport, you will once again be met, and then you will be taken to board your 5-star Nile cruise Have a good lunch aboard the boat, and then your Expert guide will take you to see two famous sites. First you will visit the amazing Temple of Philae. This ancient temple would have been lost to the waters of Lake Nasser if it had not been moved to higher ground when the High Dam was being built. Spend some time exploring the temple, and then you will visit the Unfinished Obelisk. This would have been the biggest obelisk ever made but the project was abandoned when cracks started appearing. Following your tour, you will then head back to the cruise ship and you will have the rest of the day to yourself. This night of our 7-day Cairo and Nile cruise holidays is spent on the quiet waters of the Nile at Aswan Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Today you will leave for the Abu Simbel Temples very early, so instead of having breakfast on board your cruise, you will be issued with a breakfast box to eat along the way. The drive from Aswan to the Abu Simbel temples takes approximately 4 hours, but it really worth the drive. The ancient Abu Simbel Temples are huge rock-cut temples that were constructed during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II. In addition to them serving as temples, they were also intended to serve as lasting monuments to the pharaoh and his wife, Queen Nefertari. No amount of words can describe this truly magnificent site. After your tour of the temples, you will be driven back to the cruise ship, and then it will depart for Kom Ombo. On arrival, you will enjoy another excursion, this time to see Kom Ombo Temple. This ancient temple essentially consists of two identical halves because it was dedicated to two different gods. One half was dedicated to Sobek, while the other half was dedicated to Horus. Have lunch back on board the boat while you are sailing to Edfu, and enjoy the afternoon as you wish. Dinner is served at the usual time, and this night of your 7-day Cairo and Nile cruise holidays is spent on the Nile at Edfu. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner This day of our 7-day Ancient Egypt Tour has been reserved mostly for leisure and relaxation. Enjoy another good breakfast on the boat, and then you will be taken to see the ancient Temple of Edfu. This temple was buried under the sand for more than 2,000. Because of this, it is now Egypt’s best-preserved ancient temple. After your tour of the temple, you will return to the ship, and then it will cruise to Luxor. There are no other tours or excursions today. Meals will be served at the usual times, and in the evening there will be an authentic Egyptian Belly Dance Show on board the cruise ship. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Enjoy breakfast on the cruise ship as usual, and then shortly after you have eaten, it will be time for disembarkation from your cruise and you Luxor sightseeing tour. During this tour, your Expert guide will take you to see the top two attractions on the Luxor East Bank, and the top three attractions on the Luxor West Bank. On the East Bank, you will visit Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple, and then on the West Bank you will visit Valley of the Kings which is home to more than 60 ancient tombs. You will also visit the ancient mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. After your tours, you will have some free time for yourself to do some shopping. At the appropriate time, you will be taken to Luxor Airport to board your flight back to Cairo. On arrival at the airport in Cairo, your tour manager and a driver will meet you, and then transfer you to your hotel.
