15 Day Egypt and Jordan Trip
Day 1: Welcome to Cairo
When you arrive in Cairo for your Egypt and Jordan trip, it is going to be VIP service all the way. No matter what time you arrive, we will be at the airport to welcome you, and to assist you in any way we can. When immigration formalities have been taken care of, we will drive you in style to your hotel where you will be staying for your first two nights in Egypt.
Once at the hotel, we will assist you with check and then we’ll discuss your tour itinerary with you, and also confirm pick up times for your various tours. Go strolling around the city; sample some local cuisine; relax next to the pool, or simply retire to you room for some peace and quiet.
Day 2: Embarking on the Pyramids & Sakkara Tour
Begin your day with a hearty Egyptian breakfast before your personal guide leads you to the Giza Plateau. Here, you’ll start your adventure by witnessing one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the awe-inspiring Great Pyramids of Giza. Stroll around the Plateau, where you’ll also have the chance to see the iconic Sphinx and the Valley Temple.
After completing your visit to the Pyramids, enjoy a traditional lunch at a local Egyptian restaurant. Then, make your way to the Sakkara district, where you’ll explore the Sakkara Complex and visit the historic Djoser Pyramid, the first pyramid ever constructed. You will then enjoy another night in Cairo.

Day 3: Touring the GEM & Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, set out for the Grand Egyptian Museum, also known as the Giza Museum, an archaeological marvel located about 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Giza Pyramids. Currently, the GEM Complex offers limited access to help test site readiness and enhance the visitor experience in preparation for its official opening. Visitors can access the Main Galleries, Grand Hall, Grand Staircase, commercial areas, and the picturesque exterior gardens.
Following your museum visit, enjoy lunch at an authentic Egyptian restaurant. Then head to the Egyptian Museum in the heart of historic Downtown Cairo, near the famous Tahrir Square. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to admire a stunning collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures.
From there, it is off to the airport and a flight to Aswan. On arrival you will be met and taken to your hotel in Aswan where you’ll spend the night.

Day 4: Aswan or Abu Simbel Temples (Optional)
After a delicious breakfast in the hotel, you can choose to spend your time relaxing, or to head on out to the Abu Simbel Temples, one of the most visited sites in Egypt. Their breathtaking beauty will be an incredible experience. At Abu Simbel, the temple’s construction was done in a manner that twice a year the Gods at the end of the cave are illuminated by the morning sun.
After your day out, you will be taken back to the hotel for another night in Aswan.

Day 5: Aswan Sightseeing
Day 5 of your Egypt and Jordan trip. After you enjoy breakfast, you will head on out to board your Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Enjoy lunch on the ship and then it’s time for some sightseeing.
Here, you will experience the Philae Temple. This is of course devoted to Isis and Hathor.
Next you will visit the largest Obelisk from historical times, which is in the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the Unfinished Obelisk.
Then it will be dinner back on the cruise and another night in Aswan.

Day 6: Travel to Kom Ombo and Edfu
Today, you will journey to Kom Ombo, as you enjoy breakfast on the ship. You will then visit the Kom Ombo Temple of the Gods Sobek and Haeroris in Kom Ombo.
From here, you will sail off to Edfu as you enjoy lunch on the vessel and then spend time at Horus Temple in Edfu. From here, you will enjoy some afternoon tea on your way to Esna. Dinner is then offered in addition to a night on the ship.

Day 7: A Day of Luxor Sightseeing
On day 7 of your Egypt and Jordan trip your journey will begin with breakfast, then a trip to the Luxor West Bank along with the Valley of the Kings. Here, you will find the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El-Deir El-Bahari as well as the Colossi of Memnon.
Back on the ship, it will be time for lunch as you move on to the Luxor East Bank to see the Karnak temple complex and Luxor Temple, then it will be time for tea on the ship and a night in Luxor.

Day 8: Travel to Sharm El Sheikh
On day 8 of your Egypt and Jordan trip you will enjoy breakfast onboard the boat and then head for the Luxor Airport where you will board a flight to Sharm El Sheikh. Flights will usually be indirect and go through Cairo.
You will once again be met at Sharm International Airport and then driven to the hotel where you will be staying for the next 3 nights.

Day 9: Day of Relaxation in Sharm or Optional Tour
After enjoying your breakfast in your hotel, you can either have this day all to yourself to enjoy Sharm El Sheikh as you wish, or else you can join an optional tour to the remarkable Ras Mohammed National Park which covers an area of both sea and land.

Day 10: The Incredible St. Catherine Monastery
After breakfast, you will be taken to the Monastery of St. Catherine in Sinai. This is located by the foot of Mount Moses. Here, you will find gardens and stunning cypress trees.
The monastery is operated by the Greek Orthodox Church and has the second largest collection of illuminated manuscripts. It is here you will find the Burning Bush as well as incredible pieces of artwork.

Day 11: A Flight to Amman, Jordan
After you enjoy breakfast in your hotel, you will be taken to the Sharm International Airport for a flight to Amman in Jordan. Here, you will meet with our rep that will prepare you for the following day. You will spend the night in Amman, the capital of Jordan.

Day 12: Jerash and Ajloun
Following breakfast, you will travel north to Jerash. It will be here that you will begin to head to the Temple of Artemis and visit the Oval Plaza and enjoy the fountains and beauty of this city.
From here, you will travel to Ajloun Castle and have the chance to explore this historical structure that dates back to 1184 AD. Then you you will travel back to your hotel in Amman for another night in the city.

Day 13: Visits to Madaba and the Dead Sea
Once you are done with your breakfast, it will be time to go to Madaba. This is where the Byzantine mosaic map can be found, in the Saint George Greek Orthodox Church.
From here, you will head on out to Mount Nebo, where Moses saw the Promised Land. Then it will be time to see the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and even some of the Holy Land.
You will then travel to the lowest part of the Earth, the Dead Sea and experience the minerals from the mud, and float on the saltiest waters.
After a pleasant afternoon at the Dead Sea, you will travel to Petra where you will book into a for the night.

Day 14: Petra Sightseeing
After breakfast you will check-out from your hotel and then you will have the chance to explore the Rose City of Petra, the most important ancient Jordanin attraction.
Established during the 6th Century BC, this foundation would extend into Syria over the years. It will be here that you can head on out to the canyon (the Siq) on horseback. Then, you will also have a chance to see the Treasury as you are here. At this point, you will continue on to the Street of Facades, Royal tombs and even the pharaoh’s castle.
After your Petra tour, Then you will travel back to Amman where you will book into a hotel for your last night in Jordan.

Day 15: Farewell to the Middle East
Sadly, your Egypt and Jordan trip has come to an end. Wake up to a wonderful 5-Star breakfast at your hotel, and get ready leave. One of our consultants will arrive at your hotel with a driver and you’ll be taken to Amman’s Queen Alia Airport in time for you to catch your flight back home.
Our staff will assist you with luggage and check-in, and then it will be time for everyone to say their goodbyes.
