Day 1 – Embarkation, Sightseeing, and Onboard Entertainment
When you arrive in Aswan for your 4-Day Aswan to Luxor Nile cruise on board the 5-Star MS Nile Goddess Nile Cruise, you can be sure that one of our tour managers will be waiting for you at the airport or railway station, depending on your mode of travel. Expect a very warm welcome, and know that your tour manager will be on call for the full duration of your cruise to offer assistance in the unlikely event that you encounter any problems.
After greeting you and welcoming you, they will escort you in air-conditioned comfort to the port of embarkation where you will get your first glimpse of the luxurious MS Nile Goddess Nile Cruise. Once you get on board, the crew will welcome you and direct you to your comfortable, elegantly decorated cabin. After you have dropped your bags off, it will be time for you to sit down and enjoy a wonderful onboard lunch.
After lunch, you will get your first taste of the Nile River Valley when you visit the awe-inspiring Aswan High Dam; the ancient granite quarries, and the magnificent Philae Temple. Remarkably, this spectacular relic of the Ancient World was nearly lost forever to the rising water of Lake Nasser following the construction of the High Dam. Fortunately, it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a huge international effort got underway to relocate it in its entirety to its present day location.
Back on board the Nile Goddess, a lovely afternoon tea will be served shortly after your sightseeing tour, and then you will have some free time to settle in and relax. In the evening, a fine dinner will be served in the beautifully decorated dining hall, and after dinner, you will have the opportunity to watch a fascinating Nubian folkloric show. Tonight you will sleep on the water in Aswan.

Day 2 – Sightseeing Cruise to Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Esna
Today the MS Nile Goddess Nile Cruise will make an early start, cruising from Aswan to Kom Ombo, with a delicious breakfast being served along the way. On arrival at Kom Ombo, you will disembark for a visit to the area’s most prized ancient relic, the Temple of Kom Ombo. This temple is most often described as being a shared temple because unlike all other ancient temples, this one was dedicated to two different Gods, Sobek and Haeroris. Technically speaking, however, there are actually two identical temples.
After returning to the Nile Goddess following your Kom Ombo Temple visit, you will begin sailing to Edfu, with a delicious lunch being served along the way. In Edfu, everyone will once again disembark, and you will be taken to visit this area’s most prized ancient relic, the Temple of Edfu which was built to honor Horus.
Next, you will return to the cruise liner, and it will start cruising towards Esna, with afternoon tea being served on board along the way. Shortly after arrival in Esna, another fine dinner will be served, and this will be followed by an authentic Galabeya Party. Enjoy the rest of the night as you wish and have a wonderful night’s rest on the water in Esna.

Day 3 – Cruise to Luxor with West Bank Tour
The Nile Goddess will once again get off to an early start today, this time sailing towards Luxor. A good full breakfast will be served along the way, and shortly after you have had your breakfast, you will disembark on a very special sightseeing trip to Luxor’s West Bank.
Here, your first stop will be at the famous Valley of the Kings, an ancient royal necropolis many Egyptian nobles were laid to rest in their tombs. To date, archeologists have discovered more than 70 royal tombs at this site, including the tomb of Ramses VI, and more recently, the tomb of the boy king, King Tutankhamen.
Your next stop will be at one of Egypt’s most visited and most spectacular ancient sites, the indescribable rock-cut Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Finally, you will enjoy a brief visit to the Colossi of Memnon as you make your way back to the MS Nile Goddess Nile Cruise where you will be served another mouth-watering lunch in the ship’s luxurious dining hall.
The remainder of today is essentially yours to enjoy as you wish, with afternoon tea and dinner being served at the usual times. There will also be a traditional Egyptian belly dancing show in the afternoon, and a lively disco in the evening after dinner. Enjoy the rest of the night any way you wish, and have a peaceful night’s sleep on the water in Luxor.

Day 4 – Disembarkation and East Bank Tour
Sadly, this is the last and final day of your 4-Day Aswan to Luxor Nile cruise, but there is still some sightseeing to be done before you say goodbye. First, sit down to another thoroughly enjoyable onboard breakfast. After a leisurely breakfast, everyone will leave the Sonesta Nile Goddess Nile Cruise for the last time, and you will be taken to visit Karnak. The sprawling Karnak Temple complex was expanded and added to by different pharaohs over a period of roughly 2500 years. Although most of the complex is no longer standing, that which remains as resulted in this becoming one of the most popular ancient attractions in Egypt.
Next, will be a fascinating visit to the magnificent and much better preserved Luxor Temple. After some time exploring this site, it will be time to acknowledge the fact that you cruise vacation has come to an end. You will then be escorted in air-conditioned comfort to Luxor Airport, or to Luxor Railway Station, depending on what you have planned for after the cruise. Your cruise has ended, but you will memories of your cruise will never end.
