Back on board the Nile Goddess, a lovely afternoon tea will be served shortly after your sightseeing tour, and then you will have some free time to settle in and relax. In the evening, a fine dinner will be served in the beautifully decorated dining hall, and after dinner, you will have the opportunity to watch a fascinating Nubian folkloric show. On arrival at Kom Ombo, you will disembark for a visit to the area’s most prized ancient relic, the Temple of Kom Ombo. This temple is most often described as being a shared temple because unlike all other ancient temples, this one was dedicated to two different Gods, Sobek and Haeroris. Technically speaking, however, there are actually two identical temples.
After returning to the Nile Goddess following your Kom Ombo Temple visit, you will begin sailing to Edfu, with a delicious lunch being served along the way. In Edfu, everyone will once again disembark, and you will be taken to visit this area’s most prized ancient relic, the Temple of Edfu which was built to honor Horus.
Next, you will return to the cruise liner, and it will start cruising towards Esna, with afternoon tea being served on board along the way.
