Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holiday
DAY 1 – Arrival in Cairo for Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holiday
When you travel with us, you really have nothing at all to worry about because we have already taken care of every last detail. When you arrive at Cairo International Airport for the start of your Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holiday – Cairo, Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh, the tour manager that was assigned to you when you booked your tour will be there to meet you in person. They will give you a warm welcome, and then you will head out of the airport terminal to where one of our drivers will be waiting in a clean and modern air-conditioned vehicle.
Your tour manager and your driver will then take you to the 5-Star hotel where you will be staying for the night. On arrival at the hotel, you’ll be assisted with check-in and a pick-up time will be confirmed with you for the following day. Your tour manager will also discuss your tour itinerary with you, and answer any questions you might have. After that, the remainder of the day is yours to spend as you wish.
Enjoy your first night in Egypt at your hotel in Cairo.
DAY 2 –Exploring the Pyramids & Sakkara
Wake up and enjoy the sort of breakfast you would expect from a 5-Star hotel. Your personal guide will then take you to the Giza Plateau, where you’ll begin by admiring one of the Seven Wonders of the World—the Great Pyramids of Giza. Stroll around the Plateau, taking in views of the iconic Sphinx and Valley Temple.
After completing your pyramid tour, you’ll enjoy lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant.
Following lunch, you’ll head to the Sakkara district to visit the Sakkara Complex and the Djoser Pyramid, the first pyramid ever constructed.
By the time this tour ends, evening will be approaching, and you will then be driven back to your hotel in Cairo.

DAY 3 – Touring the GEM & the Egyptian Museum
At the agreed time, your tour manager and driver will once again meet you at your hotel, and then you will proceed to the New Grand Egyptian Museum, also known as the Giza Museum. Located around 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Giza Pyramid complex, this archaeological museum currently offers limited access as part of a preview experience before its official opening. The accessible areas include the Main Galleries, Grand Hall, Grand Staircase, commercial spaces, and exterior gardens.
Following your visit, you’ll have lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant. Next, you’ll explore the Egyptian Museum in historic Downtown Cairo, overlooking the renowned Tahrir Square. Here, you’ll have the chance to view magnificent ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures.
After a long and enjoyable day, your tour guide and driver will once again transfer you back to your hotel.

DAY 4 – Cruise Embarkation in Luxor and East Bank Sightseeing
When you arrive in Luxor, another one of our tour representatives will be standing by to meet you, and to escort you to the docking area where you will be boarding your beautiful 5-Star Nile River cruise ship for your unforgettable journey on the Nile.
Shortly after boarding and checking in, you will then enjoy your first good lunch on board the ship.
After lunch, you and a small group of our other clients will disembark together, and you’ll enjoy a guided tour during which you will be visiting the beautiful Luxor Temple and the sprawling ancient Karnak Temple complex. With a truly unforgettable afternoon of sightseeing behind you, you will make your way back to the ship in time for dinner. This night of your Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holiday will be spent on the river at Luxor.

DAY 5 – Luxor West Bank Tour and Cruise to Edfu
Enjoy a lovely breakfast on the ship, and then you and your small group will disembark together, and you will be taken for a tour of Luxor’s West Bank. Your first stop of the day will be at the Valley of Kings, and ancient royal necropolis which is home to more than 60 ancient tombs.
Your next stop will be at the magnificent Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Next, you will visit the huge Colossi of Memnon as you make your way back to the cruise boat.
Once all passengers are back on board the ship, the vessel will then begin sailing towards Edfu. Enjoy an excellent lunch on the river and then spend the remainder of the day as you wish. This night of your Nile River cruise will be spent on the water at Edfu.

DAY 6 – Edfu Temple, Cruise to Kom Ombo and Kom Ombo Temple Excursion
After another delicious breakfast, you and your small group will leave the vessel and you will be taken to see Egypt’s best-preserved ancient temple, the Temple of Horus. Rather than walk from the docking area to the temple complex, you will be driven there in a traditional horse-drawn carriage which will allow you to see what everyday life looks like in a small rural town.
Following your excursion to the temple, you will return to the cruise ship and it will begin sailing to Kom Ombo. On arrive at Kom Ombo, you will be taken for another excursion, this time to see the breathtaking Kom Ombo temple complex. This is Egypt’s only twin temple complex, and was once dedicated to two Egyptian gods: Sobek the crocodile god and Horace the falcon-headed god.
When all passengers are back on board the cruise ship, it will then begin sailing to Aswan, with a good lunch being served along the way. After your lunch, you will have the rest of the day to spend as you wish, and this night of your Nile River cruise will be spent on the water at Aswan.

DAY 7 – Aswan Excursion and Leisure Time
After enjoying breakfast on the water at Aswan, your Egyptologist guide will take you and your small group on another onshore excursion to see two fantastic attractions: the ancient Temple of Philae, and the massive Unfinished Obelisk.
After your tour, you will return to the cruise ship in time for another mouth-watering lunch, after which you will have the rest of the day for yourself. Tonight’s dinner will be served on board the cruise ship out in the middle of the river. Tonight you will be sleeping on the river near Aswan.

DAY 8 – Cruise Disembarkation and Flight to Sharm El-Sheikh
This day of your Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holiday begins with another excellent breakfast on the cruise ship, and then shortly after you have eaten, it will be time for you to disembark from the cruise ship.
Once you disembark, one of our tour representatives and a driver will be waiting for you, and you will then be transferred to Aswan Airport where you will board a flight to Sharm El Sheikh. On arrival at Sharm El-Sheikh, one of our representatives and a driver will once again meet you at the airport, and then transfer will you to your hotel where you will be staying for the duration of your time at Sharm El Sheikh.

DAYS 9 & 10 – Leisure Time at Sharm with Optional Excursions
From the time you initially landed in Cairo for your 12-Day Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holiday, you have been taken to see many amazing historical sites. Your time in Sharm El Sheikh has essentially been set aside for the sake of leisure and relaxation but there are also some nearby sites which you can visit in and around Sharm El Sheikh. However, any tours to these sites are optional and are therefore not included in the price of this tour package.
Optional tours include visiting places such as the beautiful Ras Mohammed National Park; the Colored Canyon, and the hilltop Monastery of St. Catherine. These have been designated as optional tours simply because many people prefer to spend their time in Sharm relaxing and soaking up the sun, either at the beach, or at their hotels.
There are also lots of fun and popular activities one can enjoy, but whatever you choose to do, you are certain to enjoy your time on the coast.

DAY 11 – Fly from Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo
Today is the last full day of your 12-Day Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holiday, So this morning you will be checking out from your hotel, and you will then be driven to Sharm El-Sheikh airport where you will board a short flight back to Cairo.
When you land in Cairo, your tour manager and one of our drivers will once again meet you and then transfer you to the hotel where you will be staying for your last night in Cairo.

DAY 12 – Cairo, Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holidays End and Final Departure
Wake up to another wonderful breakfast at your hotel, and then you will have some more time for relaxing and for getting ready for your flight. At the time that will have been agreed, your tour manager will meet you at the hotel, and then you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight back home.
Sadly, your magnificent Cairo, Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holiday package has now come to an end, and it will soon be time for you to board your flight back home. Your vacation may have come to an end, but you will be leaving Egypt with memories that will live with you forever.
