Cairo Stopover Transit Tour Itinerary

When you book your Cairo stopover transit tour, tell us when your flight will be landing at Cairo International Airport, and you can be sure we will have one of our dedicated tour representatives standing by to meet you. You will be assisted in every way possible, and then you will be taken for a truly unforgettable tour.

Your first stop will be at the ancient Giza necropolis to see the Great Pyramids of Giza; the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. Once you have finished exploring this remarkable site, you will then be taken for lunch at a good local restaurant. Enjoy your meal, and then you will head to the Egyptian Museum.

The Egyptian Museum is home to more than 250,000 genuine artifacts that represent Egypt’s ancient past. It is the biggest and most valuable collection in the world. There is also a special Tutankhamen exhibition in what is known as the Treasures Room because it contains all the treasure which was recovered from his tomb in 1920, including gold; jewelry, and other relics.

There is also a special Mummies Room at the museum where you can view real mummies. However, a separate ticket is required for this room, and it is not included in the price of our Cairo stopover transit tour. A ticket can however be purchased at the museum.

Finally, you will be taken to the city’s famous Khan el Khalili Bazaar which is one of the oldest bazaars in the entire Middle East, and it has been open ever since the 14th century. At the appropriate time, our tour representative and our driver will transfer you back to Cairo International Airport in time for flight.
