Our existing travel itineraries all begin in Cairo, the lively Egyptian capital. On arrival at the airport in Cairo, your trip manager and a driver meet you and they will transfer you to the hotel where you will be staying for the duration of your stay in Cairo. We always book our clients into good 4 or 5 star hotels to ensure that their stay is as comfortable and as pleasant as possible.

Nearly all of our itineraries include either two or three nights in Cairo. During you time in Cairo, your Expert guide and a driver will take you to see and explore some of the best attractions in and around Cairo. Sightseeing in Cairo always begins with a visit to the ancient Giza necropolis to see Egypt’s legendary pyramids, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple.

We also take you to see the amazing Grand Egyptian Museum and the immensely popular Khan el Khalili Bazaar which is located in a part of the city known as Islamic Cairo. Depending on which one of our trips you book, you also be taken to see the famous Step Pyramid which was built for Pharaoh Djoser. Located just a short drive from Cairo, and close to the ancient Egyptian capital of the Old Kingdom, the Step Pyramid was the very first pyramid ever built by the ancient Egyptians.

Lunches at good local restaurants during Cairo excursions are included in most of our travel itineraries. After the Cairo phase of your trip, we then fly you to Luxor or Aswan for your magical 5-Star Nile cruise.

Your trip along the Nile is as much about sightseeing as it is about leisure and relaxation. You can be sure that your guide will be taking you to see some of the country’s best ancient Egyptian monuments.

Some of the highlights you can look forward to are located around modern-day Luxor, starting with the Valley of the Kings, where richly decorated royal tombs lie hidden in the desert hills. Nearby, the impressive Hatshepsut Temple rises dramatically against the cliffs, while Luxor Temple and the vast Karnak Temple Complex showcase the grandeur of ancient Thebes. As you continue your journey along the Nile, you will visit the remarkably well-preserved Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus. Further south, stop at Kom Ombo to explore the unique double temple devoted to Sobek and Horus, before reaching Aswan and discovering the beautiful Temple of Philae, set on an island in the Nile.

When your sailing on the Nile comes to an end, you will then travel back to Cairo where you will spend one more night before flying out of Egypt.
