12-Hour Cairo Tour from Sharm El Sheikh by Flight

Due to the length and nature of our Cairo Tours from Sharm El Sheikh, they need to commence very early. When you book this tour, one of our tour representatives will meet you at your hotel at about 04h15 and then transfer you to the airport in Sharm. You will be assisted in every way possible, and then you will board a short flight to Cairo.

On arrival at the airport in Cairo, one of our Expert guides will be there to meet you. One of our drivers will also be at the airport with a clean and modern air conditioned vehicle. Our Cairo Tours from Sharm El Sheikh begin with a visit to Egypt’s most iconic ancient site, so once you have exited the airport, you will drive to Giza on the outskirts of Cairo.

On arrival at Giza, you will be taken directly to the ancient Giza necropolis to see the fabled Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. The largest of the three pyramids, often called the Great Pyramid, belonged to Pharaoh Khufu. The two somewhat smaller pyramids belonged to Pharaoh Chephren and Pharaoh Mykerinus. The Sphinx and the Valley Temple were also constructed during the reign of Pharaoh Chephren.

The Egyptian Museum has several thound items on display. These include all the artifacts and treasure that was discovered in the Tomb of King Tutankhamen in the Valley of Kings at Luxor. The museum also has a specially equipped Mummies Room where a number of real-life mummies are on display. A separate ticket can be purchased at the museum if you wish to see the mummies. After you have finished at the museum, you will then be taken to Cairo’s notorious Khan el Khalili Bazaar. This is the last attraction featured in our 12-Hour Cairo Tours from Sharm El Sheikh. It is also one of the most visited and most popular Cairo tourist attractions. Khan el Khalili Bazaar has been open since 1389, making it the oldest open-air in the Middle East. However, the original market was demolished and rebuilt in 1511.

Khan el Khalili has a multitude of streets and alleyways, and even various different districts. It is a huge place, and it would be physically impossible to see the entire area in a day. Even if you don’t want to do any shopping, you will still love visiting this exceptional bazaar.
