Day 1: Luxor – Embarkation & East Bank Temples

Upon arrival in Luxor, you will be met and assisted at either Luxor Airport or the railway station before being transferred to your luxury Nile cruise ship. Embarkation takes place before lunch, allowing you to settle into your cabin and enjoy your first meal on board while taking in views of the Nile.

In the afternoon, you will explore Luxor’s magnificent East Bank, beginning with the vast Karnak Temple complex, followed by the elegant Luxor Temple.

These iconic monuments offer a powerful introduction to ancient Thebes and its religious legacy.

Return to the ship for dinner and spend your first night on board in Luxor.

Day 2: Luxor West Bank – Sailing to Edfu

After breakfast on board, the day begins with a guided visit to Luxor’s West Bank. Highlights include the Valley of the Kings, final resting place of Egypt’s most powerful pharaohs, the striking Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon standing guard over the Nile plain.

You will return to the cruise for lunch before setting sail toward Esna. The ship will cross the Esna Lock before continuing south toward Edfu, offering a relaxing afternoon on the river.

Dinner is served on board, and the night is spent in Edfu.

Day 3: Edfu & Kom Ombo – Sailing to Aswan

Following breakfast, you will visit the remarkably well-preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the finest examples of Ptolemaic temple architecture in Egypt. After the visit, the cruise continues sailing toward Kom Ombo while lunch is served on board.

In the afternoon, you will explore the unique double temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to both Sobek and Horus the Elder, beautifully positioned along the riverbank. The ship then sails onward to Aswan.

Dinner is enjoyed on board, with arrival and overnight in Aswan.

Day 4: Aswan Highlights

After breakfast, you will discover two of Aswan’s most notable landmarks. The visit includes the Unfinished Obelisk, offering insight into ancient stone-working techniques, and the enchanting Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis and set on a picturesque island.

You will return to the cruise for lunch and dinner, enjoying a relaxed final full day on the Nile. Overnight remains on board in Aswan.

Day 5: Farewell and Departure

After breakfast on board, you will disembark the Nile cruise. A transfer is then provided to Aswan Airport or the railway station for your onward journey.
